Recently I wrote a blog about ALMA which is published on the website of Astronomy Magazine.  For now I will direct you to that blog.  It is entitled "The Amazing ALMA Observatory".  At a future date I will add some more photos and other information about our visit there. To hold the place and give you some last glimpses of the beautiful Chilean night sky, I've placed 3 photos below from our amazing trio of astrophotographers, Ed Ting, Matt Dieterich and Derek Demeter. All three images were taken outside San Pedro de Atacama in the Atacama Desert.
