In the Spring of 2015 I was asked to host a small gathering of young girls, including my 2 granddaughters, in my observatory. The mother of one of the girls takes the group to visit people in the neighborhood who do interesting things. It was a real treat for me to have them visit. Since it was daytime, I had them look at some trees on the hillside through the sighting scope.
Tristan and Skye, my grandkids from across the Bay, came over for a sleepover. That afternoon we paid a visit to my observatory. A year or so before this, Tristan and I took images of the supernova that had just gone off in M82. More on that in the Gallery menu.
