For this 5-day workshop we were able to add other activities to our agenda from 2010. Here we are using a balloon to represent the expanding universe.
One evening we visited a nearby amateur observatory. A few days later there was a story about us in the major Santiago newspaper, El Mercurio.

Adding to our teaching corps was Dr. Maximiliano Montenegro, Education Dept., Universidad Catolica and Stephanie Morgado, teaching colleague from the Bay Area. In the photo above you see Dr. Pennypacker, Dr. Montenegro and Stephanie.
